wandering eye wednesday: week forty-three

Hey stranger! I know I’ve been a little MIA lately, and it’s starting to get to me.  I hope you’ll bear with me while we get our life under control over here.  We had the Pumpkin Party last weekend, and I’m planning two other parties for family right now, plus birthday central and then Halloween whilst also trying to maintain a level of acceptable sanity during snowbird/crazy traffic season.  It takes twice as long to get anywhere this year, and I’d really like to know who turned up the volume on rush hour because I’m beginning to twitch.  But enough of negative nelly.  Here is a picture I dug up from a trip to Jerome, Arizona in 2012.  I cropped, straightened and adjusted the exposure on it (Joe took the photo in black and white, so that was already done). I applied the “Dusk” overlay in PicMonkey at 80% and thought it was pretty acceptable.  At this point in the week, with every surface in our house and yard covered in a complex mess of clean and dirty dishes/decorations/left-behind-pumpkins-or-costume-pieces from the party, I’m good with acceptable.  What do you think?

OH! And don’t you worry your sweet little face, I’ll be posting about our Pumpkin Party soon! Hoping by Friday, but be gentle with me if I miss it by a day, OK? I hope you’re having a great week!
