wandering eye wednesday: week thirty-five

I took this photo last year on a hike with the Sierra Club to Weber Mine in Arizona.  It’s such a dangerous picture to me, with the cactus, hard edges, and the darkness beyond the entrance, which is so small and blocked by rock and beams… I used a point-and-shoot and totally need to get back there with a good camera to take a much better picture.  There could be more contrast and color, don’t you think? I cropped this photo, adjusted the exposure, and attempted to adjust the color to bring out the green of the cactus – but it didn’t cooperate.  I’m still learning Photoshop and it’s starting to get to me! I hope you can see what I was going for!
