You guys, oh my goodness! We had such an amazing trip to Ocean Beach this year! We just got back today, and I am SO feeling it right now. But I wanted to share this cool shot for our Wednesday post real quick. I snapped this at Point Loma while we were on vacation. Isn’t this little guy cute?!? We checked out an area new to us, the Point Loma tide pools – and these dudes were everywhere.

I didn’t have a macro lens on because I was mostly shooting distances. And I need a macro lens – haha! So this was edited in PSE to crop, adjust the exposure and color correct for his little red claws.

I’m pretty pleased with the photos I got this year. I can tell that I’m learning a lot and shooting in manual far more often with great results. It’s totally true – practice makes perfect! And when I get shots that I love, it makes me want to practice even more. I think more trips are in order, not just for our Wandering Eye Wednesday posts, but for my own experience and enjoyment!
