I’ve been into shadow boxes recently. I saw a pinterest pin for the winter shadow box and had to try my own version of it. Then we lost our kitty, Pooch, right before Christmas and needed a way to preserve his collar and paw print. I decided to use a shadow box and put some of my favorite pictures of him in there, as well as his initial. My husband also made the cut (side note: this picture was taken so long ago he still had hair!). And since I was on a roll, I decided to make a box for our belated honeymoon to Maui this last September. I used some of our photos, a map of Maui, some coral we collected on the beach, my seashell lei and a few of our Kona Brewing Co bottle caps (of which there were many!). I have one narrow shadow box left to decorate, but haven’t decided what to do with it. Oh, the possibilities…
