Dude. Where is this end-of-year crap coming from? Is it really already the middle of November?!? Holy mama. I have some serious catching up to do. On our Wednesday posts, on organizing, on life. Please tell me I am not alone in this!???
So I am not gonna lie, I totally crunch time edited these pictures. I obviously need to catch up with our Wandering Eye Wednesday posts before the start of the new year, but also, I’ve been such.a.slacker with this weekly share every. I’m starting to wonder if they’ve had their run… If you have an opinion on whether we should keep up with Wandering Eye Wednesday posts every week, now is your time to speak up! I know people are reading this who never comment, and I’m calling you all out! Are you over it? Do you like these posts? I want your opinion!
In the meantime, here are this week’s photos. While I’m still working through pictures of our last camping trip that I’ve not shared, the theme seems to be trees this time around…
31 mm | f/4 | 1/400 edited for color and exposure to bring out the bark on foreground
20 mm | f/4 | 1/40 edited for clarity and spot-sharpened on the center moss
24 mm | f/4 | 1/400 color corrected, cropped & adjusted for exposure focusing on the center
wandering eye wednesday | weeks 42-44 | year 3
As I mentioned, these were taken during our last camping trip in Flagstaff, Arizona. We found ourselves camped out near a river bottom and it was just such a beautiful area. My Instagram feed has more, but I did take the good camera out to snap some pictures with our Wandering Eye Wednesday posts in mind. I am such a sucker for macros, and that bird’s nest in the last photo was sadly just outside my lens reach. And I totally know what a lunatic I appear to be laying down, contorting myself and just generally reaching for angles, so luckily the forest animals don’t judge 😛
Please don’t forget to let me know your thoughts on these weekly posts. I really value your opinion! Meanwhile, I’m going to finish out the year either way – come hell or high water! Hope you’re having a great week, and find some time to get everything done. xoxo
