You guys! I’ve been having so much fun with family and kiddo photo shoots lately, I just HAVE to share some of these adorable shots! I present: my recent photo shoot favorites!

Can we talk about the pigtails on this little joy? Perfectly whispy and palm-tree-y, adorably placed atop this happy little nymph’s head. Oh.EM.gee. Her two-year-old brother picked out her outfit, BTW. Never mind the tutu option and a perfectly cutesy pink number, he thought this print would be best. And I have to agree now. Smart big brother, yeah? This chick smiled throughout her entire session, and I must have taken 150 photos of her sweetness. Talk about editing OVERLOAD.
This little firecracker is a handful and a half. He’d just woken from a nap – or should I say, his Mommy woke him from said nap – and he certainly didn’t appreciate a camera in his face so soon after slumber. We had to legit chase this kid down for his photos. Luckily, he’s got some amazing and determined parents who got him settled in for quick random snaps. We got a *few* gems, and this one heads my all-time favorites list.
And another reluctant subject <3 This little man just turned six-months-old for his first park visit and our photo-op. Stimulus Overload, right there. He was such a trooper though, this guy. Not a single fuss or tear as we posed him this way and that, distracted him from all the park things, and generally acted a fool to get his attention. While we didn’t get a ton of smiles, we got some serious love bug action, and I will forever cherish this session. I did his newborn sesh, too, and instantly fell head over heels. I’m excited to capture all his expressions and moments, OMG.
Finally, this chunky nugget! Insert heart-eyed emoji here. This girl = another timid muse. She didn’t smile until she saw her Daddy, and he happily played circus monkey so I could capture a couple shots. Once the onesie came off, it was party time! Gaw!
I can now say with confidence that it doesn’t matter how shy or fussy a kiddo is, I got this. HA! Seriously, though, how cute are these little loves? It’s always such an honor to capture a family’s special moments, and it’s not something I take lightly.
Do you need a photographer in the Phoenix area? Let me know – I’d love to meet you and your beautiful family!
